Preventative Medications:
At Mission Road Animal Clinic we recommend keeping your pet on a monthly preventative medication year-round. Our number one recommendation for dogs is Sentinel, a comprehensive oral flavor tab that provides protection three ways: heartworm disease, intestinal parasites (hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms), and fleas.
We now carry Revolution for cats. It is a monthly topical application that prevents fleas, heartworms, ear mites, roundworms, and hookworms. We highly recommend Revolution for outdoor cats.
We also carry the heartworm preventative Interceptor, Capstar and Program injectible for fleas, and Frontline for fleas and ticks.
